Loofah, also spelled luff, luffa, luffah, and loufa, is the fruit of the botanicals Luffa aegyptiaca (aka Luffa cylindrica) and Luffa acutangula, two plant species that belong to the Cucumber family. In China, India, and Vietnam, Loofah is commonly cultivated as a vegetable, which can grow in various shapes and sizes. When harvested before reaching full maturity, Loofah is edible. When ripened and dried, what remains of the fruit is a sponge-like, slightly coarse, unscented, textured substance.

Donkey’s milk is an emerging premium ingredient in the personal care industry. It’s been used for centuries due to its high nutrient content and rejuvenating qualities. Cleopatra was known for taking baths in donkey’s milk as a beauty treatment. Natural milk produced by donkeys is full of vitamins, essential fatty acids and antioxidants, including high levels of vitamins E and retinol, which are known to help lessen the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Donkey’s milk also contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C and D in addition to calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, and zinc. This mild soap base is a very gentle cleanser that is a perfect option for baby soaps and sensitive skin. It has a beautiful, creamy lather with soothing properties that deeply moisturize. Donkey milk products are becoming increasingly popular in Europe.
